Rosemary McLaughlin is a Mudgeeraba Oral Health Therapist (OHT) who completed her Bachelor of Oral Health degree from CQUniversity in Rockhampton. Prior to her studies, she worked as a Dental Assistant for five years which drove her to pursue a career as an Oral Health Therapist. Before joining Coastal Dental Care Mudgeeraba, Rosemary had the pleasure to work as an OHT in practices in Emerald, Middlemount and Dysart, Central Queensland.
Initially an unplanned career choice, Rosemary began to develop a passion to know more about dentistry. Furthermore, she continues to learn new skills as dental technology evolves. Above all else, Rosemary enjoys meeting lots of different people and being able to provide a positive experience.
In the practice, Rosemary McLaughlin believes that listening and attending to patient’s needs helps her to provide a better treatment. She loves working with patients to provide a preventative approach to their dental care.
Looking for a sea change, Rosemary moved down to the Gold Coast from Emerald after living there for 10 years. She has always lived and worked rurally and is excited to now enjoy the city lights! Furthermore, Rosemary has been married to her husband Steve for 8 years and has a cat named Migaloo. In her free time, she loves exploring new places and eating new things, enjoys hiking, painting, and music festivals.
