We would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr Raymon Krause who has recently joined our Coastal Dental Care Tweed practice. Dr Krause is a highly experienced dentist who taught at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.
We are looking forward to having such a great dentist join our practice. Coastal Dental Care Tweed is located within the Tweed South SuperClinic alongside several healthcare professionals. We welcome walk bookings, so come in and say hi!
Dr Raymon first began his dental education in Brazil at the Pontificia Univesidade Catolica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). In 2006, he completed his bachelor’s degree in Dental Science.
Furthering his education, Dr Raymon Krause later completed his post-graduate degree in Extension in Oral Surgery.
Prior to moving to Australia in 2008, Dr Raymon worked at his own private dental surgery in Brazil alongside his father.
After 2008, he taught at Griffith University School of Dentistry. Here, Raymon lectured on subjects such as Endodontics, Periodontics, Dental Hygiene, Operative Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry and Dental Materials.
Through the Australian Dental Council, Dr Raymon Krause completed his registration as general dentist.
Dr Krause is originally from Porto Alegre state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Deciding on a career in dentistry was something Raymon never thought twice about. He always knew dentistry was where he was heading. It wasn’t until his second year of university, Dr Raymon Krause realised how passionate he had become towards the field.
Dr Krause couldn’t see himself working in any other area than dentistry. He loves spending time and helping his patients with their smiles. Particularly, Raymon loves intra-oral surgery. By the time he graduated in 2007, he had extracted around 300 wisdom teeth.
Outside of the practice, Raymon enjoys teaching upcoming dentists important procedures and techniques.
In Dr Raymon’s spare time he enjoys spending the weekends camping and finding somewhere new to go. He has travelled to quite a few countries, but there is still plenty more he would like to visit.
