Coastal Dental Care Cabarita Beach would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr Lachlan Barlow. Recently joining our practice, Dr Barlow brings with him a passion for restorative and cosmetic dental cases.
Our Cabarita Beach practice is located on the corner of Tweed Coast Rd and Cypress Crescent. With an inviting atmosphere and a homely-feeling practice, you can be sure your visit will be a pleasant one.
Education
Dr Lachlan Barlow began his education in dentistry at Griffith University. Here, he completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and received a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry. Throughout his studies, Dr Barlow was awarded for his outstanding grades and was given several Academic Excellence awards.
Beyond university, Lachlan has continued his education by taking courses, training and studying in all thing’s dentistry. In particular, he has a fascination for studying the areas of dental implants and advanced prosthodontic treatments.
Before starting as a dentist at Coastal Dental Care Cabarita Beach, Dr Barlow worked across South-East Queensland. Moreover, he has visited Nepal and helped local villages by offering free dental care.
In the Practice
It is Dr Lachlan Barlow’s goal to ensure his patients receive the best possible care and are aware of all treatments available. He takes great care when explaining treatment options to his patients to make sure they are not only happy with the treatment outcome but are aware each step of the way.
On top of educating patients, Dr Barlow likes to help his patients feel at ease when they enter the practice.
By staying updated on the latest in dentistry, Dr Lachlan makes sure his patients are in the best possible hands.
About Dr Lachlan Barlow
Dr Barlow’s passion for dentistry started at an early age. When Lachlan was a child, he needed braces to straighten his teeth. After he experienced the effects a smile can have on a person’s self-confidence, he knew dentistry was something he wanted to be a part of.
As Lachlan witnessed dramatic results in his treatment, he now has a fondness for smile enhancing treatments such as restorative and cosmetic procedures.
When Lachlan is not at work, you will find him doing his best to stay active. He enjoys picking up new hobbies – at the moment he is enjoying CrossFit, hiking and salsa dancing. Travelling is also a favourite activity of Lachlan’s, whether it is interstate or overseas.
