Health funds available at Coastal Dental Care
At Coastal Dental Care we accept all health funds to help patients receive the treatment they need. Our practices are preferred providers for certain health funds, so please our practices to find out which health funds they are preferred providers for.
If you are a member of one of the below health funds, make sure you let our team know when you book your appointment.
Bupa
Bupa offers personal and corporate health insurance including health coaching and home health care. With most of our Coastal Dental Care practices being preferred providers, you should be able to receive a maximum rebate when you visit us.
nib
nib is a health and medical insurance provider to over one million Australian and New Zealand residents. Many of our practices are preferred providers for nib, which means you could be eligible to receive a maximum rebate when you visit selected Coastal Dental Care practices.
Medibank
If you are a member Medibank Private you are eligible for a free scale and clean each calendar year. Depending on the level of your coverage you may also be eligible for over $200 worth of general dental care. We recommend asking one of our practices to check your level of coverage before you make an appointment. Please check if your local Coastal Dental Care practice is a Medibank preferred provider.
CBHS
If you are a member of the CBHS and have dental cover, you might be eligible for a free dental check-up and clean each calendar year. Before booking an appointment it is important to check your level of cover to see exactly what you are eligible for.
Veterans’ Affairs
Our Coastal Dental Care practices accept the Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card. Our patients with this health fund do not have to pay for treatment. Dental services covered by Vet Affairs include the prevention and treatment of oral disease, fillings, dental crowns, and the construction of dentures.
HICAPS
HICAPS provides an easy and efficient payment process solution for health fund payments (like Medicare) across Australia. As well, it saves time and money for healthcare providers and their patients.
Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS)
The CDBS is a dental benefits program for eligible children between the ages of 2 and 17. The schedule provides $1,013 in benefits for basic dental services. Please let us know you are seeking treatment under this scheme so you don’t reach your limit. This way, there will be no out of pocket expenses.
Westfund
We proudly participate in Westfund’s Provider of Choice Network. Westfund members can benefit from no out of pocket for the first initial consultation *, up to their annual limit. Just let reception know when you arrive for your appointment.
