Dr Jhoan Guerrero grew up in Colombia and moved to Australia to study English in 2013 without knowing he was going to call Australia home. Dr Jhoan studied a Bachelor of Dental Science in one of the top universities in his home country and has successfully completed the Australian Dental Council examinations.

Jhoan has lived in Perth, Hobart and now he has decided to call the Gold Coast his new home. You may have seen Jhoan as he has worked as Dental assistant in some of our practices. He has  also worked as Dental Technician which has given him technical knowledge of behind the scenes of dentistry.

Dr Jhoan Guerrero enjoys dentistry as it involves science and technical hand skills but at the same it provides him the opportunity to interact with people. He is a very friendly, kind and empathetic dentist who always takes the time to listen to all his patients to address all their needs and concerns.

Jhoan has particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry but also enjoys talking and teaching his patients about oral health. He is very happy to be part of the Burleigh Waters team and values working in a state-of-the-art practice.

Outside of dentistry, Jhoan loves spending time outdoors. You may see him at the beach or hiking between Queensland or NSW. He also loves early mornings at the gym.
