Coastal Dental Care Mermaid Beach would like to extend a warm welcome to our new senior dentist Dr Craig Waring.
Dr Craig is an experienced dentist who has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years. Craig has a very calming nature which helps nervous patients to feel at ease during their visit and ensures that they have a big smile when leaving the practice.
We are beyond excited to incorporate his knowledge and experience within our practice.
About Coastal Dental Care Mermaid Beach
Coastal Dental Care Mermaid Beach is located at Suite 3 & 4, 2446 Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach QLD 4218. Our practice has four dental surgeries fitted with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure we provide you with the best possible dental care.
We have free parking available for all our patients out the front of the practice as well as underground parking behind the practice which is accessible via Bondi Avenue.
We believe everyone has the right to good oral health and is why our practice is a preferred provider for Bupa, nib first choice and Westfund. In addition, we also welcome Veteran Affairs, Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS), other health fund members and patients who are not with a health fund.
Education of Dr Craig Waring
Previously, Dr Craig Waring attended the University of Queensland where he completed a Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours.
After completing his degree, Craig’s desire to form his own private practice grew and he eventually moved to the Gold Coast to pursue his dream.
Shortly after he moved to the coast with his wife Kate in 1986, Craig started his own private practice.
Over the years, Craig’s practice quickly grew and became one of the largest multi-clinics in Queensland! Moreover, it contained 9 dental surgeries with full in-house acrylic and ceramic laboratories.
In the practice
Dr Craig Waring offers comprehensive and exceptional dental skills and services in all general dentistry. He also has a keen focus for cosmetic and restorative dentistry such as crowns and bridges.
Furthermore, he has a massive interest in early orthodontics and orthopaedics.
Craig enjoys his role in giving back to dentistry and likes to mentor young graduates who are just starting to find their feet.
From the beginning, Craig has been instrumental in helping many young graduates on the coast find their love for starting their own private practice and helping them develop their careers.
Furthermore, he likes to take the time during appointments to provide his patients with a thorough explanation about their treatments. This helps to educate them about what they are receiving and how it impacts their oral health.
About Dr Craig Waring
When he is not working, Dr Craig enjoys being outside as most of his interests revolve around outdoor activities. You can find him running, riding, swimming, or surfing. In addition, most of his spare time is spent relaxing with his family.
