Newly joining our Coastal Dental Care Runaway Bay practice is dentist Dr Ayda Irannezhad! She is a very outgoing dentist and makes even the most anxious patient feel relaxed in her chair.

Our practice is located just outside the Runaway Bay shopping centre, surrounded by quite houses and canals. We have been looking after the local community for nearly 30 years and with the support of Dr Ayda we will be able to help patients even further.

Education

Dr Ayda Irannezhad began her education by completing her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy and Masters in Health Practice with Honours. Later, she went on to complete her dental degree at Griffith University Gold Coast.

During her studies, Dr Ayda also worked as a dental assistant and a medical receptionist. However, she never took her eye off the main goal of becoming a dentist. Ayda has always had her sights set on dentistry and is a very passionate dentist.

Further, she gained insightful knowledge from other dentists while working alongside them during her studies. The tips and tricks she learned has helped mould Dr Ayda Irannezhad into the great dentist she is today.

About

Before settling down on the Gold Coast in 2005, Ayda lived in multiple places around the world. The relaxing and holiday like atmosphere of the Gold Coast was something Ayda couldn’t pass up and she has stayed ever since.

In terms of her career, dentistry has given Dr Ayda the ability to combine her love for science, art and helping people. It is of no surprise her favourite part of dentistry is restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr Ayda Irannezhad loves being able to create a seamless match to a chipped or broken tooth as well as restore a patient’s ability to chew thanks to the help of the restorations she placed.

Dr Ayda is a keen learner and is continually looking for ways to improve her clinical skills and further her knowledge. As well, Ayda is a friendly person who loves to communicate and meet new people. She strives on being gentle, informative and making patients feel at ease.

Outside of work, you will find Ayda reading novels, and taking yoga classes. She is also a huge movie buff and loves to watch the tennis or football.
