Coastal Dental Care gives back to volunteers

The Gold and Tweed Coast are wonderful places to live. It is not just because of the beautiful beaches, the short distance to stunning rain forest hikes, or the mild climate. The people who live here make the difference.

Earlier this year, Coastal Dental Care supported sporting clubs on the coast with well-needed funds. This time, we would like to reward volunteers with who work hard to make a difference in our lives. We have teamed up with Hot Tomato/MyGC to reward these wonderful people.

How does “Coastal Dental Care Gives Back To Volunteers” work?

From November 1st to November 24th 2019, we seek nominations from the public to reward a local volunteer with a cash prize of $1,000. To make a nomination, please go to the MyGC website.

In the last week of November, the winner will be selected and announced on the MyGC and Coastal Dental Care website.

Who can be nominated?

Do you know someone who sacrifices their free time to help others? This may be in a sporting club, as carer, social support, or similar activities. You have the chance to reward them with a $1,000 cash prize. All you have to do is to go the MyGC website, nominate your volunteer in the time frame stated above, and explain why they should win the prize.

All volunteers in the Gold Coast region who do something, especially helping other people, without being forced or paid to do so can nominated for the $1,000 cash prize.

Why does Coastal Dental Care gives back to volunteers?

Coastal Dental Care values the Gold and Tweed Coast communities. For this reason, we always search for new ways to support local initiatives. Volunteers are an integral part of a well-functioning society. They help others giving up their free time and often also invest financially into their projects. We are excited to be able to reward a volunteer for their great work!

If you would like to become a volunteer, there are several ways how you can find out about volunteering opportunities on the coast. Go volunteer allows you to search for volunteering jobs in specific regions. The City of Gold Coast also has several volunteering options listed on their website.
