Katie Gorman is an Oral Health Therapist at Coastal Dental Care Robina Town. Previously, Katie graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Oral Health. In addition, she has also completed her Certificate 3 and 4 in Dental Assisting and Radiography.

While completing her degree, Katie worked within a dental practice in Melbourne as a dental assistant. Once completed, she stayed at the same clinic for nine years working as an Oral Health Therapist. During this time, she had the opportunity to build a great rapport with her patient’s which is an experience she will never forget.

Katie enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in children’s dentistry and periodontal maintenance. She is passionate about preventing dental issues through oral education and reinforcing positive behaviours relating to oral health.

Moreover, Katie Gorman has also spent time over in the Philippines where she volunteered her time to observe disparities in health care and dental conditions which she has not witnessed before. It was an eye-opening experience which has inspired her to travel there again in the future.

Originally from Melbourne, Katie has quickly adapted to the Gold Coast lifestyle.

Outside of the practice, she enjoys boxing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and skateboarding. In addition, Katie loves to undertake yoga and reading.
