Dr Meysam Khanizadeh, known to his patients and colleagues as Sam, is a dedicated and compassionate dentist passionate about improving oral health and restoring smiles. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Health Science and Master of Dentistry from Griffith University, graduating with academic excellence. During his placement at Logan Central Health Centre, Sam gained extensive experience working with patients from diverse backgrounds, refining his restorative dentistry and oral surgery skills.

Sam’s journey to dentistry is unique. Before pursuing his career in oral health, he studied pharmacy at Griffith University for less than two years, gaining valuable insights into the medical field before realising his true calling in dentistry. This profession beautifully integrates science, artistry, and patient care. Additionally, he completed a Bachelor of Applied Physics and a Master in Energy Engineering overseas, equipping him with a scientific and engineering background that enhances his problem-solving approach to dental care.

Sam is particularly interested in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. What he loves most about dentistry is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on his patients’ lives by improving their health, confidence, and quality of life. He is committed to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements to provide the highest standard of care.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring the beautiful beaches of Queensland, and going on camping trips to unwind. A former competitive soccer player, he now plays recreationally with friends to stay active and enjoy the camaraderie of the sport.

Sam is excited to join the Coastal Dental Care team and looks forward to building long-lasting relationships with his patients while helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
