Coastal Dental Care Annual Staff Development Day
Our Coastal Dental Care family recently came together for our annual Staff Development Day.
Held at the beautiful RACV Royal Pines Resort on Saturday, August 24th, our team of over 300 staff assembled for a day of interactive learning.
We strive always to ensure that Coastal Dental Care is a company that encourages each practice’s individuality and strengths. Though we are a group of dentists, we are lucky to have a vast network of clinicians, lab technicians, oral health therapists, implant dentists, specialists and general dentists specialising in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics and injectables.
Company events like our annual Staff Development Day are pivotal to our company’s culture and development and would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. We are very grateful to collaborate with companies that are leading the way in the dental industry. Their ongoing support and partnerships with Coastal Dental Care allow us to stay current on the latest trends, dental technologies, and dental products, ensuring that we continue offering high-quality dentistry at each of our state-of-the-art facilities.
To kick off the morning, we were lucky to have Anthony Laye, corporate entertainer, motivational speaker, and mentalist, keep us entertained and engaged with his interactive illusions and mindset hacks. Anthony is a behaviour expert and shared practical strategies to help us become more effective listeners, observers, communicators, and influencers (at work and home).
Following lunch, we divided into groups, with each continuing to engage in further development and education from the likes of:
- Professor Laurie Walsh: Get the lowdown on infection control from a true expert in the field (for all dental assistants and clinical staff)
- Dr Lincoln Harris: Learn from a global dental superstar about innovative treatments and industry trends (for all Dentists/Clinicians)
- Billy Rickman: Experience high-energy marketing and business tips from a veteran who has been there, done that, and bought the t-shirt! (for all practice coordinators and receptionists)
