One night – five practice awards – more than 150 staff members; this year’s Coastal Dental Care Awards Night was bigger than ever and a great event for staff and sponsors.
There was a wonderful atmosphere on the top floor of Currumbin RSL overlooking the creek when people started to arrive for the annual night of celebrations.
“The Awards Night is our chance to reward staff and practices who have gone above and beyond for patients, for each other and to achieve their goals this year. It is a time to look back on 2017 and see how far we have come as a group,” said Coastal Dental Care CEO Dr Franck Page.
12 long service awards for employees and 11 awards for outstanding performance proved him right.
“This development shows that our staff shows so much commitment and lasts. This is amazing to see and that is something that makes Coastal Dental Care so unique. No matter which practice you work at, we all help each other out and strengthen our team,” said Dr Franck Page.
“Our company values loyal staff members. Currently we have three employees who have been with us for more than 15 years, five have been working for the group for 10 years or more and 21 employees have been with us for 5 years or more. We are proud of their contribution and dedication to their patients and the company.”
Geographically, the Emerald Lakes and Robina areas dominated the practice awards. The Robina practices underlined their strong performances with Coastal Dental Care Robina Village winning Most Improved Practice and Robina Town the Communications Excellence Award whilst two Emerald Lakes’ practices secured three awards for themselves. The White Bite took out the title of Best Performing Practice and Gold Coast Holistic Dental Care could even secure two trophies as Most Friendliest and Best Overall Practice.
Dr John Sotis, Principal Dentist and Owner at Gold Coast Holistic Dental Care said: “We have come a long way from opening about one and a half years ago to where we are at now. The team is great, the atmosphere in our practice is absolutely unique and we hope on developing even further in 2018.”
On the night, $1482 was raised for the Make-A-Wish Gold Coast branch which Coastal Dental Care supported earlier this year. President Leah Lang said: “Because of our generous business partners and sponsors like Coastal Dental Care, we can grant life changing wishes to our special wish children.”
