Dr Jessica Rosa is a dedicated dentist with a deep-rooted passion for patient care and orthodontics. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil in 2007. To further her expertise, she completed postgraduate studies in Public Health in 2010 and an additional postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics in 2011.
Before moving to Australia in 2014 with her husband, Dr Rosa gained valuable experience working in both public and private healthcare settings in Brazil for six years. She successfully passed the Australian Dental Council Examinations in Australia and became a registered dentist in 2017. Since then, she has worked in private practices across the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales. One of her early roles in Australia was as a tutor at Griffith University Dental School, where she enjoyed guiding and mentoring future dentists.
Dr Rosa’s love for dentistry began in childhood, thanks to her positive experiences with her paediatric dentist and orthodontist. This early influence shaped her approach to dentistry, where she enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and building positive, long-lasting relationships. While she loves all aspects of general dentistry, she is passionate about orthodontics and particularly interested in Invisalign treatment.
Outside of work, Dr Rosa loves spending time with her family, exploring the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, and discovering new cafes. She also enjoys music, playing a bit of guitar and piano and singing whenever she gets the chance!
