Dr Ellie Ewing is a general dentist at Coastal Dental Care Robina Town, bringing several years of clinical experience from the United Kingdom to the Gold Coast.

Ellie studied at Cardiff University in Wales, where she completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). She then spent several years working within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), caring for patients of all ages in practices across both England and Wales. That time in busy NHS clinics gave her a broad grounding in everyday family dentistry, and she is now looking forward to continuing her career in Australia with our Robina Town team.

Ellie has a strong interest in restorative and digital dentistry. That means repairing and protecting natural teeth with treatments such as fillings and crowns, and keeping up with the way digital tools are changing how dental care is planned and delivered.

Prevention sits at the centre of her work. She would much rather help a patient keep a healthy mouth than repair problems later, so she takes the time to explain what she sees, answer questions, and share practical tips that fit into everyday life. Whether she is seeing a child for an early check-up or an adult who has not been to the dentist in years, her aim is the same: to give patients the knowledge they need to look after their teeth at home. She finds it rewarding to see patients feel more comfortable with their smile and more in control of their oral health.

Ellie also takes particular care with patients who feel nervous about visiting the dentist. She knows a dental appointment can feel daunting, so she listens first, explains each step before it happens, and works at a pace that suits the person in the chair. Her goal is a calm, welcoming visit where every patient feels heard and respected.

Outside of work, Ellie is enjoying getting to know her new home. You will often find her exploring the Gold Coast’s beaches, keeping active, trying new restaurants with her partner, or catching up with friends.

If you would like to meet Ellie at Coastal Dental Care Robina Town, you can book online in a couple of minutes, and our team will happily help you with the rest.
