Dr Louise Franchina
Dr Louise Franchina developed a passion for dentistry very early in life, and is now practising at The White Bite. She loves working with patients and is excited to help the Emerald Lakes community achieve confident and healthy smiles.
Louise has a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry from Griffith University, where she also received an Award for Academic Excellence. Originally from Brisbane, Louise moved to the Gold Coast for her studies in 2013 and has not wanted to leave since.
Dr Franchina began working at her childhood dentist in Brisbane as an assistant when she was only 15 to see if she might be interested in a career in dentistry. She soon fell in love with the job and assisted throughout high school until she could start studying dentistry herself.
Louise strives to provide the very best care possible for each and every one of her patients. For this reason, she attends CPD courses both locally and overseas. She is a keen community supporter and looks forward to organising events and school visits in the Carrara area.
Dr Louise Franchina was especially touched by a case of a lady in her mid-60s who had never once smiled in a photo. After treatment, she was finally confident enough to go overseas with her grandchildren and smile in photos for the first time in her life. Louise hopes to be part of many more positive dental experiences like this in the future.
In her time out of the dental practice, Louise likes spending time with her family and friends, keeping active and being outdoors with lots of hikes and beach visits. She is a keen traveller and loves to visit her relatives in Italy and Germany.
