Robina Town welcomes new OHT Val Safarova
Coastal Dental Care is pleased to welcome to our new team member Val Safarova at Robina Town.
Val is an Oral Health Therapist with extensive experience across a variety of specialist and general practices.
Coastal Dental Care Robina Town is located in the Riverwalk One building across the road from Robina Town Centre. When you enter our practice, the space feels open and inviting. As an added benefit, we also offer refreshments to our patients on arrival.
With a team of dentists and oral health therapists, we are well equipped to help patients with their oral care. As well, we offer a range of treatments from check-up and cleans through to dental implants and orthodontics.
Val obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Auckland in 2012, followed by a Bachelor of Oral Health from Auckland University of Technology in 2016.
She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Dental Health Science at Griffith University Gold Coast in order to become a fully qualified dentist. Val’s experience as an Oral Health Therapist in both general and specialist practices has equipped her with a wide range of skills. She also gained knowledge across various sectors of dentistry. Her experience covers work in orthodontics, periodontics, as well as general practices.
Val has provided high-quality care and advice to patients in New Zealand and Melbourne before arriving on the Gold Coast. In Melbourne, Val was fortunate enough to work with Dr Adam Rosenberg, one of Victoria’s leading periodontists.
In the Practice
Val is a committed learner and observer who is always looking to progress her career and make her patients feel at ease. She says her role in dentistry stems from a lifelong love of science and medicine. Her goals are to bring as much positivity to dentistry visits and continue bringing smiles and happiness to those she treats.
Val brings to Coastal Dental Care Robina Town an empathetic rapport with her patients, a broad-ranging and dynamic skillset and a strong knowledge base in general and specialist dentistry.
About Val Safarova
Val was born in Russia with an Armenian background and moved to New Zealand with her family at the age of 19. She speaks fluent English and Russian. Val also speaks a little bit of Armenian and Turkish too.
Her lifelong passion for helping others shows through her strong work ethic and desire to complete her current dental degree. Val was awarded a total of two out of five awards while studying her Bachelor of Oral Health for best restorative skills and best academic achievement.
When not focusing her energy on dentistry, Val enjoys Latin American dancing. This helps her to stay active and socialise with a range of people from diverse backgrounds. She also loves to read and is passionate about exploring new places with her friends.
