Book an Appointment for a Dentist Online 24/7
We have made booking in for a dentist as seamless as possible across our 15 dental practices with our book online feature.
This means, you can book online for an appointment after hours, on the weekend or even on a public holiday – 24/7. Say goodbye to taking time to call your dentist from work, you can book in for an appointment online at any of our Coastal Dental Care practices.
What treatments can I book online for?
Online appointments are best suited for general dentistry treatments like check-up and cleans, dental emergencies and consultations. We have put together a list of treatments we offer when booking online.
- Check-up and clean – Child Over 13
- Check-up and clean – Child Under 13
- Check-up and clean – Existing Patient
- Check-up and clean – New Patient
- Consultation
- Emergency – Broken Tooth / Filling
- Emergency – Tooth Ache / Pain
For more complex treatments (crowns, bridges, dental implants etc.) it is best to call in for an appointment so that your dentist can allocate the appropriate amount of time for your case. However, more complex treatments will usually require a consultation visit before any dental work is carried out.
At Coastal Dental Care, we offer booking spots for emergency dentists, however, it can be beneficial to call in for an appointment so that you can be seen to right away. This is especially important if you are experiencing pain or discomfort.
Furthermore, in a dental emergency where a tooth has chipped or become dislodged – getting to the dentist as soon as possible can increase the chances of your tooth being saved.
How do I use Coastal Dental Care’s online booking service?
Simply, choose your preferred practice or search our locations for your nearest practice. Once you have selected your preferred practice, you will see a blue “Book Online Today” button underneath the practices name.
This will direct you to Centaur Portal, where you can submit your online booking.
- Select Practice
Review your selected practice or choose another practice from the “Select Practice” dropdown. - What is the reason for your visit?
Select one of the preassigned reasons from the dropdown. - Who do you want to see?
If you’re a returning patient and would like to see your regular dentist, simply select their name from the dropdown. Don’t mind who you see? Select “All Available.” - Date and Time
On the left-hand side of your screen you will see a calendar. Here you can select a day that suits you best directly from the calendar or select one of the: today, tomorrow, this week or next week buttons above the calendar. If you would like to see your dentist as soon as they are available – select “next available.” - Selecting a Time Slot
Depending on the criteria that you have selected you will see either available appointment times in green or a message saying, “no available appointments found for your request.” If you receive this message, broaden your search terms or select “next available.” Alternatively, if you see a timeslot highlighted in green – select it. - Provide Details
After you have selected your preferred time, you will be prompted to provide your details so that we can contact you for your appointment. As well, the next time you book an appointment with us online you’ll be able to skip this step by selecting “Sign In” under “patient details” at the top of the page.
If you would like a time slot that is not available, give one of our practices a call and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate your needs.
